Holiday Cheese Pairings

untitled-16

Entertain in style with these beautiful and delicious Holiday cheese pairings:

Foggy Morning + Raspberry Jelly

This 100% organic farmstead cow’s milk cheese from Nicasio Valley Cheese company is a little tangy, soft and spreadable. Foggy Morning is extremely delicate and fluffy with a sour cream aroma that plays off the sweetness of the rose petals in Can Bech’s raspberry jelly. Tasting this combo is like what we imagine walking on clouds feels like.

Cashel Blue + Honey

This Irish cow’s milk cheese has a creamy texture with salty, sweet, grassy, earthy notes and a hint of blue tang. Sweet honey plays on the saltiness of the cheese and tames the blue flavor. It is a salty-sweet concoction that will leave you yearning for another bite. Any honey will be delicious, but Savannah Bee Co’s Honey for Cheese is our favorite for this pairing.

Brie + Toasted Almonds and Cranberries

This ready-to-go pairing is made just for you at our Mollie Stone’s locations. It’s a classic French brie stuffed with toasted almonds and cranberries. Bake it in the oven for 5-7 minutes at 350 degrees F until it starts to ooze. The warm, creamy, buttery brie is even more delicious with the tartness of the cranberries and crunch of the toasted almonds.

Brie + Truffle Pate

You can also bake this ready-to-go pairing at 350 degrees F for 5-7 minutes. The earthy, funky flavors of the truffle pate combine with the creamy, oozy baked brie to make this combo extremely decadent. If you’re looking for an elegant item to add to your cheese plate, you’ve found it.

Huntsman

The Huntsman is a pairing of two cheeses: the firm, mellow, tangy Double Gloucester and the blue-veined, strong, smooth and creamy Stilton Blue. Both are made with cow’s milk. This cheese is stunning on a platter and the flavor combination is perfectly posh.
