Paint the Castro Red on December 1, 2012

Mollie Stone’s is proud to sponsor Paint the Castro Red together with the Richmond/Ermet AIDS Foundation’s Help Is On The Way For The Holidays XI.

Taking place on World AIDS Day – Saturday, December 1, 2012 – Paint the Castro Red commemorates the many San Franciscans who have been lost to AIDS and inspire our community into action by raising funds for HIV/AIDS service providers and offering free HIV testing.

Mollie Stone’s Castro, along with other upper Market and Castro Street businesses, will be donating a portion of proceeds from the day’s sales to this cause. When you shop at Mollie Stone’s Castro on December 1, 2012, 10% of your total purchase will be donated to local HIV/AIDS service providers, including the AIDS Emergency Fund, AIDS Legal Referral Panel, Asian & Pacific Islander Wellness Center, Maitri, National AIDS Memorial Grove, Positive Resource Center, Project Inform, Project Open Hand, San Francisco AIDS Foundation, Shanti and Visual Aid.

  • 7am-11pm: Shop at Mollie Stone’s Castro, 10% of proceeds from your purchase will be donated
  • 10am: Supervisor Scott Wiener visiting Mollie Stone’s Castro
  • 6pm: Free screening of “How to Survive a Plague” at the Castro Theatre
  • 8:30pm: Candlelight vigil in Harvey Milk Plaza
