We are proudly celebrating our 30th anniversary as a family owned local business.
We started the company in 1986 as a natural foods store and named it after my mother, Mollie, who worked in grocery her entire life. Her passion for the industry inspired me to start my own market 30 years ago.
Our goal was to bring local and organic food to our community and to make a difference in people’s lives through food. As time went on, we decided to include the “best of both worlds” by adding conventional groceries and lots of choices to make shopping more convenient.
Over the years, we have expanded to 9 unique locations in the San Francisco Bay Area and now serve over 100,000 customers each week. We realize that our growth is directly tied to our terrific employees and the support of our surrounding communities. Working hard to keep our company successful means we can support our employees, their families and our community.
Our mission is to surpass customer expectations with superior customer service, exciting variety and quality of products in a fun and positive environment for our customers and employees. We are excited to have the next generation of the family join the business, which will support the company’s long term growth while allowing us to stay true to our mission statement and adhere to our roots.
