Get in the festive spirit with these adult Irish Whiskey Butter Cookies!
What you will need:
- Pre-made Tipperary Irish Butter Cookies
- ¼ cup Tipperary Pure Irish Butter, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon whiskey*
- 1-2 drops green food color
- Green Sugar Sprinkles
How to make the Butter Cream Icing!
Step 1: Gather your supplies!
Step 2: Cream butter. Add powdered sugar and blend well.
Step 3: Stir in whiskey and beat well. Blend in food color. Add additional sugar or whiskey if necessary for spreading consistency. Makes ½-cup icing.
Mollie’s Tip: Make a shamrock template out of parchment for an easy decorating stencil!
Kid Friendly Recipe Tip:
*½ teaspoon of vanilla plus 2½ teaspoons water could be substituted for whiskey.
