The ultimate graham cracker pie crust (that can be made vegan too)!
Makes 1 pie crust (8-9 inch).
10 graham cracker full-sheets (1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs)
6 tablespoons melted butter (to make it vegan, we use Earth Balance butter)
1/3 cup cane sugar
½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
Use a food processor to turn the graham cracker sheets into crumbs. We like to leave it just a little chunky with some bigger crumbs.
In a large bowl, mix the graham crackers, sugar and cinnamon together. Microwave the butter for about 30 seconds and add to the mixture. Combine well. Press the mixture into a 8-9 inch pie dish.
Chill the pie crust for about 1 hour in the freezer before baking.
