A Strawberry Santa recipe to entertain the grandkids on Christmas morning! Give each grandkid a piping bag and let them make their own Strawberry Santas. Maybe this will keep their hands out of the cookie jar 🍪.
Ingredients
1 pound large strawberries
8 oz cream cheese
4 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Directions
Rinse strawberries thoroughly. Cut off leaf end of strawberries so they can stand up. Cut off the tip of strawberries to make the Santa hats.
For the frosting:
Using a mixer, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until the mixture is thick and smooth. Transfer the frosting into a piping bag (or ziplock bags with the corner tip cut off).
Place strawberries wide side down and pipe the top of the strawberries with frosting then place the hat on frosting. Adorn the Santa with frosting and use chocolate chips to make eyes.
