Earth Day Berry Basket

Celebrate Earth Day by making this very berry Mollie Stone’s basket out of one of our iconic brown paper bags!

Supplies:

  • 1 Mollie Stone’s Paper Bag
  • Ruler
  • Scissor
  • Pencil
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Binder Clips or Clothes Pins

Directions:

  1. Cut the bag along one side seam and bottom seam.
  2. Open up the but brown bag and lay flat.
  3. Measure and cut (18) 1” Strips.
  4. Fold each strip into thirds.
  5. Weave 10 strips together and secure with hot glue and set aside.
  6. Glue two strips together and repeat until you have 3 long strips.
  7. Weave the sides of the basket together with the 3 long strips.
  8. While weaving the sides secure as you weave with the binder clips.
  9. Trim the strips as necessary.
  10. Add a handle
  11. Fill with your favorite spring berries!
