Cheers to Dry January!

Cheers to Dry January! They may call it “Dry January” but we have countless refreshing non alc and alcohol-free drinks to keep your glasses full all month long!

Whether you want to enjoy an ice-cold beer, or sip on a classic Old Fashioned, we are proud to have curated a diverse and sophisticated non-alcoholic category for our markets.

Here are some of our favorites this January:

Beer:

RationAle Brewing – RationAle is a non-alcoholic craft brew that’s here to crush expectations and tear up the rule book.

Jamie (Co-Founder & CEO) and his sons were sitting around the campfire talking about beer. His oldest was about to leave for college, so Jamie encouraged him to think for himself when it came to drinking alcohol, regardless of the peanut gallery’s opinions.

Making a rational choice can feel pretty radical. They got fired up about the idea of crafting a non-alc beer that doesn’t play by the rules. They started brewing RationAle and haven’t looked back since. RationAle wants you to screw the rules, and make that radical choice and own the moment.

Wine:

Lautus Sparkling Rosé – Lautus launched in South Africa back in 2017.  Founder (also the winemaker), Reg Holder, was in pursuit of producing a non-alcoholic wine portraying the beautiful complexity, elegance, and finesse of a premium wine. They use cutting-edge technology and techniques to de-alcoholise their wines, but their wine-making practices are very traditional. As with all wine, the true heroes are the vineyard. They carefully hand-select the ideal vineyards from regions they know and understand. In this way, they produce wines of high aromatic complexity and balance.

Lurton Les Fumées Blanches – “Les Fumées Blanches” takes its name from the morning mist that covers the Sauvignon Blanc vines, located at the foot of the Montagne Noire in the central southern region of France. This single-varietal wine is a blend of Sauvignon Blancs from several terroirs in this region of Gers, 150 km from Bordeaux. Now, by utilizing vacuum dealcoholization at 35°C to preserve aromatic freshness, you can enjoy their alcohol-free version of their bestseller.

Spirits:

Ghia – All the spirit, none of the booze. Ghia’s nonalcoholic spritzes are the perfect nonalcoholic apéritifs to accompany your Dry January, offering a complex and refreshing alternative to alcohol. With a balanced flavor profile of bold botanical extracts, hints of citrus, and a touch of bitterness, it delivers a sophisticated drinking experience without the alcohol. Its unique blend of ingredients creates a satisfying depth, perfect for those seeking something more than just a typical soft drink. Ideal for social occasions or solo sipping, Ghia Spritz provides all the flavor and none of the compromise, making it the ideal go-to for a mindful, enjoyable month.

St. Agrestis – The St. Agrestis story starts well before their first bottle was produced. As the sons of an Italian immigrant father and first-generation Italian-American mother from Brooklyn, brothers Louis & Matt Catizone’s lives have always been consumed by fine Italian food, beverage and family. Growing up in North New Jersey, their school lunches didn’t have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich with the crust cut off and a can of cola, but instead soppressata on Nonnina’s freshly baked pane with a small bitter Italian soda. It’s these influences that drove the brothers to team up alongside long-time friend and industry veteran Steven DeAngelo to create St. Agrestis in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. From being the first to produce Amaro in New York City to developing the globally renowned non-alcoholic Phony Negroni®, St. Agrestis is a celebration of traditional Italian drinking culture as innovative as Brooklyn.

Lyre’s – Many years in the making, Lyre’s exquisite range of lovingly crafted non-alcoholic spirits was born from a quest to make the impossible possible – giving the freedom to drink your drink, your way. Not just provide an alternative to those who don’t wish to imbibe alcohol, but ensure everyone can enjoy the mirth and merriment of a soiree or shindig. With Lyre’s it’s up to you – replace some of the alcohol in your drink to make a low alcohol Lyre’s or make your classic favorites as a no-alcohol option simply by selecting from the many Lyre’s variants in our extensive range. They craft their spirits to taste just like the classics they pay homage to.
