Since 1988, Heath Wilkins and family (pictured left) have grown Birdhurst Ltd and Golden Bay Fruit companies to be one of the largest growers of apples and pears in New Zealand. With orchards around the Motueka district, they make the most of a temperate climate, with warm summer temperatures and sunshine hours, and cool autumn evenings to produce beautifully finished high-quality Taylor’s Gold pears.

Kevin McLean (pictured right) grows, packs and stores Taylor’s Gold pears in his state of the art packing and cold storage facilities in Motueka, New Zealand. He also grows apples, kiwi and has a livestock farm.

Oliver Rowling (pictured left) is the product of four generations of fruit growers, a tradition that began in 1920. The Rowling family operates Moana Orchards in Nelson, New Zealand. Moana are contributors of late supply controlled atmosphere packing for the United States, the UK and European markets.
