Mollie Stone’s is Celebrating Women Owned!

March is Women’s History Month and we are proud to celebrate some of our favorite women-owned and woman-powered brands!

From tequila that is made in a female-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico to two local mom’s making a good-for-you snack that people love, our stores are full of women-owned brands that truly are history in the making!

Our name-sake Mollie Stone made a difference in people’s lives through her work in the food industry, and we celebrate these brands as they do the same.

21Seeds

21Seeds is an award-winning, all-natural, real fruit-infused tequila founded by 2 sisters (Kat Hantas and Nicole Emanuel) and 1 girlfriend (Sarika Singh) who were looking to make a tequila that was as approachable as a glass of wine. They partnered with the most celebrated female-owned distillery in Jalisco, Mexico to develop an ultra-smooth Blanco infused with the ripest and juiciest fruits. The result is an easy-to-use, perfectly balanced tequila. 21Seeds infused tequilas are exceptionally smooth and smell incredibly fresh – with a hint of flavor. Enjoy 21Seeds on the rocks, as a spritz, or a low-calorie cocktail without sacrificing taste.

Urban Remedy

“I didn’t set out to create Urban Remedy–it was a natural evolution of my passion for health and healing and living a lifestyle with “food is healing” as my mantra.” – Neka Pasquale Growing up in the farm-to-table culture of Northern California, Urban Remedy’s founder, Neka Pasquale was inspired by people who care about what they eat and who strive to eat for health as well as pleasure. In her private practice of over a decade, Neka combined acupuncture and Chinese medicine with cutting-edge nutrition and lifestyle modifications to heal, balance and create optimal health. Neka started leading wellness retreats with her patients and over and over again they described experiencing life-changing results after just a few days. Inspired by these transformations, Neka knew she had found her calling and in 2009, Urban Remedy was born.

Drops of Dough

Erin was a woman possessed by the idea of finding the perfect cookie recipe. Using her willing kids as her own personal focus group, she searched high and low for the superior balance of salt, flour, sugar, chocolate, and eggs. She tried batch after batch, sending them off to school with her boys daily, learning the magic of batching and freezing to make it easier on her mornings. Simultaneously, she was raising money for a Pediatric Cancer Research Grant to help three families in her community all impacted by the same rare disease. She didn’t think she’d found a business to keep the fundraising going, but, as the initial fundraising program came to a close, Erin’s cookie recipe was nearly perfected. Left wanting to do more fundraising and finally happy with the cookie recipe, Erin and long-time friend Cameron saw an opportunity. Drops of Dough was born. Today, Drops of Dough makes the best tasting, elevated frozen cookie dough and ice cream sandwiches on the market, using high quality ingredients and a recipe perfected over years of trial-and-error. They use only the best, simplest ingredients to give you the opportunity to have warm, homemade cookies on the table with no prep or mess. Their commitment to doing business the right way means that they use environmentally friendly packaging, and continue to donate a portion of their sales to pediatric cancer research, pay their staff fairly, and commit to do business with others who believe that doing the right thing matters.
