This sweet & savory salad is made with pears that are cored and sliced, then layered with a perfectly dressed watercress/blue cheese/pecan salad. Litehouse’s Blue Cheese Vinaigrette adds another subtle layer of blue cheese flavor. Or, for an even more intense flavor, try Litehouse’s Original Blue Cheese dressing.

BLUE CHEESE CRUMBLES & PEAR SALAD
Recipe from Litehouse
- 4 whole pears
- 2 cups watercress
- 2 tablespoons toasted pecans
- 1/4 cup Litehouse Blue Cheese Crumbles
- 1/2 cup Litehouse Blue Cheese Vinaigrette Dressing or Original Blue Cheese
- Lemon Juice
Core four pears from the bottom (keeping stem intact). Slice pears in four horizontal slices. Brush the cut sides of the pear with lemon juice.
In a medium bowl, mix watercress, toasted pecans, blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese dressing together until evenly coated. Reassemble pears with the salad mix in between.
