Mollie Stone’s offers 20 different soups, bisques, chilis and chowders to satisfy any palate with a hearty warming meal. We adore these soups for either lunch or dinner, especially with some freshly baked Rustic Bread, cornbread or a roll from our bakery. Sometimes we’ll also pick up a side salad or half sandwich, or top our bowl of steaming soup with some grated cheese and chopped green onion.
Our soup bars proudly serve a variety of soups from the list below every day (usually up to six varieties). If you have a favorite, don’t hesitate to request it from our deli staff!
Bayou Crab & Sausage Bisque
Our chefs “bet the house” on this original recipe that begins with sweet roasted red bell peppers, yellow corn, smoky poblano peppers, tender sweet crabmeat and zesty sausage in a rich chicken stock blended with heavy cream. A pinch of crushed red peppers and a hint of habenero provides the perfect touch of heat.
Stuffed Baked Potato & Cheddar Soup
Rich and creamy, this hearty soup begins with roasted russet potatoes for that authentic “baked potato” taste. Then we add heavy cream, loads of smoky bacon bits and all the favorites – sour cream, Old English Cheddar, Grade A butter and chives – for one “fully loaded” soup!
Fisherman’s Crab & Corn Chowder
This sweet and creamy chowder combines tender crab with succulent sweet yellow corn and diced green bell peppers. A splash of brandy adds depth of flavor and a dash of Tabasco Brand Pepper Sauce gives this unique chowder a spicy kick! Enjoy with a slice of sourdough.

The epitome of comfort food! This classic take on chicken noodle soup begins with tender egg noodles, white meat chicken, chunks of carrot and sliced celery in a rich chicken stock. It’s seasoned with a touch of garlic, a pinch of savory thyme and a dash of freshly ground black pepper.
Vegetarian Minestrone Soup
This hearty Italian classic is loaded with tomatoes, elbow macaroni, kidney beans, diced fennel, zucchini and spinach simmered in a rich vegetable stock seasoned with garlic, basil, parmesan. Sunday Pot Roast & Vegetable Soup
Inspired by the Sunday dinner classic, this hearty soup is chock-full of potatoes, carrots and chunks of tender beef. Corn, peas and green beans are also added, then simmered in a rich chicken and beef stock seasoned with garlic and a hint of thyme. Best enjoyed with a buttered dinner roll!
Broccoli & Cheddar Soup
Kids and adults alike love this one! Our Broccoli & Cheddar Soup recipe is loaded with broccoli florets and tangy cheddar cheese, with a touch of garlic to complete this classic favorite. Dress it up for dinner by topping it with a sprinkling of shredded cheddar, bacon bits and sliced green onion.
Chicken & Dumpling Soup
This hearty homestyle favorite features tender herb dumplings seasoned with parsley and black pepper. They are simmered in a rich chicken stock with sliced carrots, onions, celery and chunks of tender chicken. If you want to add a little heat, use a dash of your favorite hot sauce.

A Neopolitan tradition! Our Italian Wedding Soup is a flavorful marriage of acini di pepe pasta and tender all-beef mini meatballs with carefully selected dark green spinach and herbs in a rich, clear chicken broth. Try grating a bit of Parmigiano Reggiano over the top for even more flavor.
Shiitake & Portobella Soup
A smooth melange of mushrooms and fresh cream, enhanced to perfection by an inspired medley of shiitake and portobella mushrooms, tender brie cheese and sweet Madeira wine. For an elegant meal, serve it with a side salad of lightly dressed mixed greens and a sliced baguette.
Tomato Bisque with Basil
A satin bisque of tomato and basil with a crushed red pepper attitude. This soup starts with a puree of California red tomatoes, then we simmer onions in real chicken stock, blend in rich heavy cream and finish with aromatic sweet basil. Perfect for dipping with a grilled cheese!
Chicken & Masa Soup
This authentic tortilla soup begins with stone ground corn tortilla strips and a rich chicken stock infused with cumin and oregano. Then we add plenty of pulled and diced chicken along with tomatoes, sweet corn and fire-roasted green chiles. A pinch of New Mexico chile powder and a handful of grated pepperjack cheese add that “especial” finishing touch.
New England Clam Chowder
Thick and creamy, this traditional chowder has bursting with tender sweet clams, diced russet potatoes and celery simmered to perfection in a rich clam stock with smoky bacon.
Butternut Squash Bisque
