Freshly roasted makes a difference. While many other brands bake their granola in butter and sugar, locally made San Franola has a healthier crunch.
The recipe was inspired by San Franola co-founder Dave’s dad. Dave & Matt worked for 12 years to create a new, more nutritious and better tasting granola. The proprietary recipe delivers big clusters and amazing taste flavored with natural ingredients including molasses, cinnamon and almonds. Even better, the natural ingredients deliver 10 grams of protein, higher fiber and less sugar than many granolas, making it perfect for snacking, breakfast or even as a smoothie.
To demonstrate San Franola’s versatility, San Franola created a Peanut Butter & Kale Smoothie recipe exclusively for Mollie Stone’s. Enjoy the video below, and keep reading for the recipe!
- 1 cup San Franola Granola
- 1/2 cup Mollie O Smooth Peanut Butter
- 1 cup Noosa Honey Yogurt
- 1 tablespoon Navitas Chia Seeds
- 1/4 cup Navitas Cacao Powder
- Handful of Earthbound Farm Organic Mixed Baby Kale
- Splash of So Delicious Coconut Milk
Combine all ingredients in the blender and blend to desired consistency. As an alternative, top smoothie with San Franola Granola instead of blending in.
